About Abby Skeans

I advise families, foundations, and mission-driven organizations on how to design philanthropic strategies, governance structures, and partnerships that translate conviction into measurable impact.

My work spans philanthropy, policy, business, and culture by supporting leaders as they move from vision to execution, and from isolated initiatives to durable systems. I have worked alongside leaders from the public and private sectors, the arts, media, and faith communities to help build what the world needs next.

Today, I advise a select group of families and foundations on impact strategy, board transformation, collaborative funding models, and new initiative design, helping bold ideas take shape with clarity and purpose.

Previously, I served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Stand Together, where I led cross-sector partnerships across business, sports, entertainment, and faith to advance movement-level strategies focused on education, community empowerment, and social entrepreneurship.

Earlier in my career, I worked in East Africa on legal and policy reforms for children in conflict with the law across Uganda, Malawi, and South Sudan.
